In this blog, I want to shed light on the top 9 STIs/STDs, providing crucial information about prevalence, curability, symptoms, and credible sources for deeper insights.

1. Chlamydia (The Silent Invader):

  • Prevalence: The most reported STI, accounting for approximately 1.6 million+ cases in the United States in 2021.
  • "In 2021, chlamydia rates for African Americans/Blacks were six times that of Whites."
  • Curability: Curable with antibiotics when detected early.
  • Symptoms: Often asymptomatic, but can include genital pain and discharge.
